Rockaway

After the winter and rainy spring we've had, my body has been craving sun and sea. When I heard it was going to be 90 degrees on Memorial Day, I decided to plan a trip to Far Rockaway for an NYC beach excursion including Rockaway Taco. The NYC beaches are kind of ridiculously cool (how could a beach 40 minutes from Manhattan not be?), I wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now the projects were completely taken over by expensive condos. After the glorious day I had there with my roomies, friends and interesting strangers from all over the boroughs, I'm actually considering investing in some beach front property. Who's in?
