There is something so nostalgic and bittersweet about Justin Vernon's music. For me it's like looking through a photo album of my childhood. There's a photograph in my mind of my family on a hike, my parents napping after slicing peaches for my brother and I with a swiss army knife... listening to Bon Iver brings it all back. Sandeep and I were lucky enough to score tickets to his concert in August, which I really think will be spectacular. This new track "Perth" just came out, and as per usje, it delivers those shimmery heartachey goods.

This is going to make me sound super-pretentious, but there was an awesome profile of Justin Vernon in last Sunday's NYTimes Magazine!
Ha! Fear not Francesca, I'm pretty sure the (5) readers of this blog are happy to have the recommendation!
XO
Jules
why is reading the Sunday Times Magazine pretentious?
